This fourth-year studio is about ways to "fill the void" in South Beach along an alley corridor adjacent to Ocean Drive.  The alley is currently underutilized and serves primarily as trash collection with occasionally prohibited activities. Ideas about how to reactivate the space by developing an urban strategy using a range of formal operations together with digital techniques to create interventions within the space. Students rethink ideas about mass and interiority in relation to the existing buildings that make up the alley.
