BIO
Henry is a designer, a researcher, and speculator. He completed a Bachelor of Psychology before obtaining a Masters of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles where he worked with distinguished architects Neil Denari, Tom Wiscombe, Dwayne Oyler, Hernan Diaz Alonso, and other architectural thought leaders.
Before training as an architect, Henry studied behavior and the role of the environment in human development. His multidisciplinary background has influenced not only the way he thinks but also the way he sees the world. His curiosity seeks to challenge assumptions about what is possible through exploration and creative design.
His studio, HD Designlab, is a platform for research focused on developing strategies for self-initiated projects within architecture and design. By rethinking what architecture can be, innovations can challenge our assumptions and provoke exploration to re-evaluate our relationships within space, time, and culture.
